Students visit one of England's most famous castles!
15th September 2018
Our students enjoyed a great day out at Windsor castle last week. The weather was good and the students not only allowed to soak up the history but also enjoyed archery.
Windsor Castle is famous for being a royal residence, but even although the students did not get a chance to see any of the royal family, there was plenty of photo opportunities.
The original castle was built in the 11th century after the Norman invasion of England by William the Conqueror and it is known for its long association with the English and later British royal family and for its architecture.
The grounds surrounding the castle are superb. Some parts being managed and others more natural, offering a chance to catch a glimpse of the wildlife, such as deer and wild birds.
It was a happy day which everyone enjoyed and which will leave lasting memories with our students.
