Cherwell College Student Accepted into NASA Programme

25th July 2019

Cherwell College Oxford student, Victoria, takes a giant step towards her Duke of Edinburgh Gold Medal by participating in a NASA course in London.

Victoria recently took part in Mission Discovery, a NASA-run Space and STEM summer programme, as part of her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Students for the NASA programme are selected from all over the world, receiving guidance under NASA astronauts and scientists to produce experiments that are to be conducted at the International Space Station.

Victoria is a talented Physics A-Level student entering Sixth Form at Cherwell after completing her GCSE studies at the college, and has a stellar reputation for excelling in her tutorials and a track record of being heavily involved in various activities outside of her academic studies.

We are very proud of Victoria's achievements and can't wait to see what she gets up to next!

If you would like to learn more about Victoria's experience, you can read her story on our blog here.
