Easter Revision

Exam revision can be challenging, especially with increasing pressures on young people to achieve the high grades required by universities. We recognise these pressures and tailor our courses to each student, working with their own strengths and seedking to improve upon their weaknesses.

Our Easter Revision courses are intense, personalised, and exam focussed.

We offer the following:

  • full days of tutoring (30 hours in total)
  • Full boarding in our newly built accommodation building including en-suite rooms
  • Non-residential options
  • Specialist tutors in each subject
  • At least 2 tests per subject complete with full feedback (tests taken outside teaching hours)

In 2018, the College will run both residential and non-residential programmes over the following weeks:

WEEK 1: Monday 26th March - Friday 30th March 2018

WEEK 2: Monday 2nd April - Friday 6th April 2018

WEEK 3: Monday 9th April - Friday 13th April 2018

Please note that not all courses will be taking place on each week. Please contact us for further information about which weeks are available for your subject(s)

The course

As a result of increasing competition for the limited number of top places, universities are demanding ever-higher grades from applicants. Cherwell College recognises that students may well require supplementary tuition in order to achieve these grades.

Our Easter Revision courses have been designed specifically to provide an intensive regime of examination preparation and study skills for those students wishing to achieve the best possible grades in forthcoming public examinations. The course involves intensive tuition comprising: small group and/or individual tuition together with seminars, examination technique and trial examinations.

Structure of the course

Students receive expert and intensive teaching over 5 days, as well as supervised preparation and revision periods.

Small group or one-to-one tuition

All tuition takes place in small, subject-specific groups. Individual tuition is available on request, either in addition to or as a substitute for group lessons.
