Geography students round-off fieldwork with a visit to Brasenose College
9th February 2018
Our A-Level geographers have been busy this month conducting fieldwork as part of their a-Level studies. Their research has focused on various aspects of development and the effects of globalisation – having covered areas such as the effects of flooding in Oxford to more socio-economic issues of homelessness in Oxford. Our students marked the end of their fieldwork with a sumptuous lunch at Brasenose College, organised by their tutor and supervisor for the project, current DPhil candidate- Cyrus Nayeri.
The students enjoyed the experience of dining at the 17th century Dining Hall which was rounded off by a tour of the stunning College which was built in 1509, situated in the heart of the city.
