What kind of help is there for me outside my lessons?
Every student needs to feel happy and well looked after to succeed in study.
The College's Accommodation and Welfare Officer is there for all students - not just those who board at the College. Alongside Personal Supervisors she is there to keep a watchful eye on students and to help directly when approached.
House Mothers in the Halls of Residence, report daily on the students in their care and meet weekly to discuss student progress and well-being with the Accommodation and Welfare Officer, who also liaises closely with families where students choose to board in home-stay arrangements.
Whatever the problem, you should always feel confident that whoever you feel most comfortable speaking to in the college will provide a sympathetic ear and advice on how best to go about solving any problem you may face. Facing difficulties, finding the answers, and knowing we can face future with greater confidence in finding the answer is part of the process.
