What is there for me to do when I'm not studying?
The College has a student committee, meeting weekly to plan social events and sports with the guidance of the Sports and Social Secretary.
The College newsletter, produced monthly, and with a student editor, provides students with information about trips and events, as well as offering a forum for would-be journalists to write about things that interest them.
The College takes part in a wide range of activities from involvement in the Oxford Union Society - where students can attend debates which feature major figures from all around the world, both in politics and entertainment, and also socialise with the University's students, through to out and out fun trips - paintballing, go-karting, scuba diving, horse riding.
The college runs soccer, basketball and netball, as competitive team sports with fixtures arranged with local schools and colleges, and can make provision for rugby, cricket and hockey players to join local teams. Individual sports like tennis, squash and badminton are also supported by the Sports and Social Secretary.
At the College, there really is something for everyone, and it is very important to balance study with something that gets you away from it all. If it isn't obvious where you'll continue rock climbing, fencing, judo or whatever it is that you enjoy - just ask. It is very easy to find the pastimes that enthuse you in Oxford.
