What types of accommodation can Cherwell offer me as a student?
Cherwell offers excellent student accommodation within the College's own Halls of Residence.
Located in North Oxford within walking distance of all the college teaching and administrative buildings, our four Halls of Residence can accommodate around 100 students in single and double rooms.
Your age is a big factor in choosing the right accommodation. The younger of Cherwell's pupils, sixteen or less, are best looked after by a selected family or living in a Hall of Residence under the watchful eye of one of our resident House Mothers.
House Mothers and their staff aim to create a friendly atmosphere in Halls, and work very hard to help you reach the level of maturity you will need to achieve if you are to get on successfully in a university environment, when you are older.
Our Accommodation Officer can also help organise accommodation for students who want to live in a host family or provide advice to older students who need help finding their own private accommodation.
